About Manor Farm Music Festival

As well as being a well known horticulturalist,
Keith Dickinson was a huge fan of live music, and attended countless festivals and concerts throughout his life. So when he lost his battle with a brain tumour, his family and friends rallied round to organise a music festival on the land behind his house in Shore Road, Hesketh Bank, to raise money to support further research into the illness. Building on the success of the first event we continue to help Marie Curie Cancer Care and The Brain Tumour Trust, and more importantly keep Keith's memory alive.

A message from Keith's daughter, Suzanne:
In July 2007 dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour. An operation to remove the tumour left Keith immobile. Furthur diagnosis post treatment suggested the tumour had returned and on the 24th June 2008 he passed away. We know our case is not exclusive, we hope to raise plenty of money for these charities to say a BIG thank you to Marie Curie for all their loving support, care and attention and to
help future brain tumour patients with the work from The Brain Tumour Trust.

Suzanne Dickinson x :-)
